This is a gentle 2.6km trail enjoying great views of Clickimin Loch and Clickimin Iron Age Broch. The route follows mainly tarmacked paths with an often uneven and undulating surface. There are a few short steep sections of path which exceed 1:12 gradient, but only for a maximum of 20m at any one time. The path is often restricted to 1200mm wide with few passing places. For large sections of the path there is no edge or verge leaving a drop of up to 80mm from the path surface to the surrounding grass.
