This trail starts from the car park at Underwood Lock, off the B816 near Allandale. There are disabled parking bays in the car park.There are two barriers along this route which can be passed by the chicanes but these are only 800mm wide and may not be easy to move through for everyone. Check out the 'width' tags on the map.The path is level with a firm and even surface over most of its length. There are some potholes and puddles after wet weather.The trail is used by walkers, cyclists and horse riders .
