Georgeham to Putsborough

Description

A pleasant walk through farmland to the coast at Putsborough. It begins by following a public footpath across grassy pastures and around the edge of a cropped field. There are several gates on this section, one of which has one step. After an easy stroll along tarmaced lanes, follow the path across another grass field before it starts to slope downhill through gorse bushes. A welcome bench will be found beyond a large wooden gate, from which panoramic views of the coastline from Putsborough to Woolacombe and beyond can be enjoyed before the return journey to Georgeham. This Phototrail has been provided by the North Devon Biosphere Service from printed material funded by the North Devon AONB Sustainable Development Fund and Devon County Council.
