The walk begins in the car park off Pittencrieff Street (A907). Exit onto the ramp leading into Pittencrieff Park.There are numerous seats all long the walk. The surface is tarmac throughout. There is one long slope (100m) to the furthest point of the walk with gradients up to 10% (1:10) though a short cut can be taken to avoid this.There are fine views of Dunfermline Abbey from the park.
