I found the information in Phototrails very useful. It took me a little while to find how how best to use the site and get the information I needed but it was worth the effort.
I’m very interested in Phototrails but see that you have nothing for the south west of England. Can I put in a plea for some trails in Exmoor or Somerset.

Type: Circular
Balloch Castle Country Park is steeped in history and was the stronghold of one of Scotland's most powerful medieval families. Overall there are 7km of trails which are suitable for all abilities featuring woodlands, parklands, and walled gardens. The circular Southern Route, featured here, is approximately 3km in distance with plenty of rest points and with stunning views of Loch Lomond and Ben Lomond. For the most part the trail follows flat, well surfaced paths, although there is a steep climb up to the Castle from the Shore. Some visitors may therefore wish to access the parking areas from the North Lodge entrance

Fifty years of amazing vision, careful planning and construction have created Consall Hall Landscape Gardens, which includes six lakes, various follies, summer houses, packhorse bridges and much more.All these have been blended together to compose a series of living, growing pictures which change throughout the seasons and according to the weather. The result is a treasure trove for garden enthusiasts, photographers, artists and families to enjoy and savour.Despite a few moderately steep gradients, the Gardens are for the most part accessible to people with restricted mobility. Paths are sealed with Tarmac and a buggy tour is also available for an additional charge.

This nature reserve straddles the boundary between Albrighton and Donnington. The ponds, originally constructed for a mill, are now a great place to see wildlife.
