This is a pleasant woodland walk. It is out and back as there is a barrier at the top of the Den. Although there are two short gradients at the start of the walk (the worst is at 9% (1:11) for 30m) most of the 2.5Km trail has a good surface and only gentle gradients as the path rises along the Den.
