This is one of several waymarked trails in Dunster Forest and climbs from the car park at Nutcombe Bottom (70m) to a height of about 300m along forest tracks with maximum gradient 30%. The return is via tracks and narrow footpaths through woodland and farmland with short steep sections (>40%)
