Description

The trail starts near Rosebank roundabout where the A9 meets Camelon Road the A803. It starts on the opposite of Camelon Road from Rosebank Distillery.The surface of the path is firm throughout but uneven in many places.The route is wide enough for two people to walk side by side.The trail is level except for a few short gradients by locks with the steepest being 14% (1 in 7) for about 15m.The end of the trail is at the car park adjacent to the marina and Carron Sea Lock from where a leads through the West Mains Industrial Estate which is close to Junction 6 of the M9
