A walk along the shore of the Firth of Forth to the historic industrial site of Preston Island. There is only one short gradient of about 10% for 50m or so. The path is wide enough for two people to walk side by side all the way. The surface is uneven and muddy in places. A lot of the walk is on tarmac. There is a railway crossing near the beginning. This is not easily negotiable for anyone in a wheelchair.
