This trail goes around two farms Easter Cartmore farm and Wester Cartmore farm/steadings to the North of Lochgelly. Some of the photos were taken in May when dry and sunny and some were taken in January when wet and muddy. There are quite a lot of inclines and declines some steep and some not so steep. The terrain can be quite rough in places. Differing grades of gravel and pot holes and when it has rained some of the tracks can be quite muddy. There are some great views towards Benarty and the Ochil Hills. There is a main road at the entrance to Launcherhead Road which is the number 19 bus route most of these buses are low floor and have wheelchair spaces.
