Type: Access to Bird Hide
This is an out and back walk of about 3.5Km in total. It takes you to the new White Hide overlooking Amwell Quarry Nature Reserve from where, among other things, bittern may be seen. The hide is spacious and at a high level which can be accessed along ramp with an 8% (1:12) gradient. The circular path starts immediately next to the car park and is 2,600m in length. It is about 1.2m wide along its whole length except for a short 20m section which is 800mm wide.The surface is crushed stone that in one or two places may be a little uneven or loose.The worst linear gradient is 11% (1:9) for about 15m and the worst cross gradient is about 6% (1:17)for 20m

This is a pleasant walk around Barden Lake in Haysden country Park. The trail is about a mile long with plenty of seats near the path. The longest distance between seats is about 230m. There is only one short slope along the path with a gradient of 10% (1:10) for about 15m.The surface is firm and even except in a couple of spots where there are some loose stones.

The Red Squirrel Walk is through open pine woodland where there is every chance of seeing red squirrels. It follows a path with a good surface with only one or two uneven stretches. There are several short slopes on the circuit around the loch, as steep as 19% (1:5) for 10m but the picnic area can be reached without passing the worst of the gradients. The start of the walk is in the car parking area on the A985 between Dunfermline and Kincardine at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference NS 964 870
